Look German Immigrants to Work in Nursing Homes

The more skilled workers are needed in Germany in the field of elderly care. The new project was launched to attract immigrants to fill jobs, especially women.
 Having spent 10 years caring for his own family , Asthma Hadhri felt it was time for work. When looking for a suitable opportunity , he ran into Narges Yelaghi , who oversees a project in Offenbach called ' Early Career Caring for Elderly Citizens . '


The project offers training opportunities for targeting the geriatric care field such as Asthma Hadhri immigrant women who wish to return to work in their 30s or 40s. Team Yelaghi thrusts advice and guidance, as well as organizing work placements .

Of interns into employees
The next step is an internship that allows job candidates to see if it suits him . Offenbach is not the only place looking for immigrants to fill the void . Similar projects have sprung up in Germany , especially to promote training for high school students .

Hurdles that must be overcome

" Most of the women who participate in training has been living in Germany for a short time and had a mid-level German language skills , which unfortunately is not enough , " said Yelaghi . " For this reason we offer German language classes for those who need . "
Thanks to language courses , Hadhri become more confident to speak German . In his final exam , he gets a value of 1 , the best value in the German school system .
