Energy producers from Tokyo plans to dismantle the tank reactor at the tsunami-damaged Fukushima. The move followed an urgent water leak rain recently which pollute the sea.
The story surrounding the Fukushima nuclear power plant has not been completed . Tokyo
Electric Power announced plans to form a special unit tasked dismantle
the damaged nuclear reactors , following the Tsunami disaster 2008.
TEPCO
President Naomi Hirose claims it will realize the plan as soon as
possible after the Japanese government gave the green light . Tokyo provides funding recovery power plant in Fukushima .
Tuesday
( 24/12 ) and members of the Board of Directors approved the
establishment of the company TEPCO combined with some special units that
have different tasks , among which is the dismantling of the reactor
tank .
The threat of aftershocks
Efforts to address the threat of radiation exposure in Fukushima currently considered urgent . Daily
Asahi Shimbun recently reported 225 tons of rainwater likely to leak
due to cracks in the insulating ring surrounding the reactor tank . The leak is believed to occur in reactor number one .
While
the number of the crew of the USS Ronald Reagan who gave first aid
after the Tsunami in 2008 and began reporting health problems . Most recorded with brain cancer , leukemia , etc. . Marines are believed to be ill from radiation exposure amounted to 49 people .
Experts
believe , radiation exposure comes from the distilled sea water by ship
and used as drinking water , for bathing and cooking . In
a letter directed lawsuit against TEPCO , the accused Marines , the
Japanese company was late to tell the nuclear leak that causes water
pollution sea .
Sticking to the TEPCO Fukushima
Through the plan , Tepco is believed to want to revive a power plant damaged by the tsunami . The
Japanese government is believed to favor because of worries surge of
electricity dependency if TEPCO switched to coal or petroleum .
"
When the government took a step forward ( to help TEPCO - ed ) , we
hope to take three or even four steps at a time , " Hirose said in front
 of reporters .
The
Japanese government previously announced changes to the state budget
for 2014 , including the restoration fund of energy production and
storage of nuclear waste for TEPCO worth 1 billion U.S. dollars .
Without the helping hand of government , TEPCO will be forced to declare bankruptcy . Following the tsunami in 2008 and the company is difficult to borrow money from banks because of poor credit ratings . But on the other hand , TEPCO bankruptcy would be a backward blow for the Japanese economy .
